I love a creative memorial, and this tribute to Edmond Halley in Westminster Abbey is a favourite. I’ll stick my neck out and say this is the only plaque in the abbey to feature a spacecraft. The European Giotto probe was able to make close observation of the eponymous comet on its last visit in 1986. There it is on the main disc of the Halley memorial.
