Footage of Al Pacino Auditioning For 'The Godfather'
This video shows a young Al Pacino auditioning for the role of Michael Corleone in the 1972 film The Godfather. After the first two weeks the studio was ready to fire the actor and replace him. Fortunately director Frances Ford Coppola stepped in to prevent the studios from firing Pacino and his performance garnered him an Oscar nomination.
