An Ugly Duckling Story

Lola was the last egg in the nest to hatch, and when her mother and the other cygnets left, she was too young to follow them. A local couple stepped in and volunteered to raise her with the hope of returning her to the lake.

    People can and do make pets of almost any critter. The key is recognizing there are what they are and not fairy tale version you want them to be.
