Travelling By Train From LA To NYC



How did the US go from having luxurious, widely used passenger trains to the Amtrak system today?

    I’ve always wanted to take a cross country rail trip. Can’t say this assuaged my concerns but I still want to.

      I find travelling by train very convenient in Europe. Unfortunately here in Canada it is not.
