A Flying Whippet named Sounders fly 36 feet through the air | Boing Boing
Sounders, an eight year old whippet, can fly 36 feet through the air! The dog currently holds the world record in Distance and Air Retrieve and also set a record for a 9-foot vertical jump!
I knew someone with Whippets and I'm convinced they don't have a skeleton, just a bunch of coil springs inside. Want to watch mom fix the food dish, just bounce up and down 5 feet in one spot to watch. xoxoxoBruce
When Harold and I met I had a whippet named Heidi. She hated to be locked up and when we went out and forgot to close a window she would chew through screens, sometimes on the second storey, to escape. She could leap any fence we put up. She was a little Houdini (Heidini?)
