Given $37 Billion to oil companies? I don't believe it. Loaned oil companies $37 Billion? Yeah, business as usual, that's how banks make money. Don't forget if the US and Canada go 100% EVs, we'll still need oil, so they continue to explore and drill. xoxoxoBruce
The way couples in a show, especially unlikely couples, sit around talking and then suddenly fly at each other like magnets, scattering clothing and furniture in the explosion, has always jerked a laugh out of me. A good example of this is Ralph Fiennes and Kristin Scott Thomas in the hotel in /The English Patient/. One of my favorite not-British scenes of these is Doctor Fleischman and Maggie O'Connell in the barn in /Northern Exposure/, because they're dressed for Alaska winter, at first. But mostly it's British people, it seems like.
