The Imperial Hotel was demolished in 1967. Frank Lloyd Wright: The Lost Works has recreated a comprehensive digitally-animated version of his masterpiece.
Three things: 1. The inside of the building resembles the inside of a Goa'uld spaceship in Stargate, except with lots more chairs. 2. The place is not very wheelchair accessible. 3. The motion of the virtual camera coupled with the wistful piano part reminds me of the feeling throughout the excellent teevee series /Shooting the Past/ (BBC, 1999, three episodes).
So superior to today's soulless high rise hotels even though, like most buildings of the time, it had accessibility issues. I'll check out the BBC series.
