Edelweiss is a village in the mountain town of Golden, British Columbia that is surrounded by six of Canada’s most stunning national parks: Yoho, Glacier, Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Mount Revelstoke. The Swiss Guide Cottages were built by Canadian Pacific Railway in 1910 - 1912 for mountain guides who took wealthy tourists into the mountain areas of Rogers Pass, Banff and Lake Louise. There are six chalets set on 50 acres.
