In 1973, bread maker Hovis produced a classic TV ad. It was shot on Gold Hill of Shaftesbury, Dorset. The director was (Sir) Ridley Scott. He later went on to direct Bladerunner, Alien, Thelma & Louise, and Gladiator.
Now there is a house in this idyllic spot that’s up for auction with a guide price of just £150,000. (It needs some work)
