My son lives in Melbourne and has spent a lot of time under lockdown because they don't fool around with Covid-19 in Australia. The government has introduced strict new lock-down rules in the city due to a recent spike in the virus. If you live in Melbourne you are now only allowed to leave your home to shop for food and essential items, for care and care-giving, for daily exercise and for work.
Compare this with the US where people are not compelled to wear masks even in areas where the virus is raging.
