The Boeing 737 Max was pulled from production after malfunctions caused fatal air crashes. Designers Victor Hugo Azevedo and Cheryl Lu Xu had an idea:
“An airplane is a building that flies – so why not use it as a building material?”
The designers propose repurposing airplane fuselages as homes for retired military veterans. The 737 Max Tower, which they entered in the
2020 eVolo Skyscraper Competition, stacks Boeing 737s vertically in the shape of a Jenga-tower.
