The Film That Launched Margot Kidder’s Career

Margot Kidder died a little more than a year ago. Many people remember her as Lois Lane in the Superman movies. I remember her from her first film. The Best Damn Fiddler from Calabogie to Kaladar(1968), an award–winning drama that she made at the NFB. The screenplay was written by Joan Finnigan as a drama,telling a story about poverty in the Ottawa Valley.
