Jigsaw Puzzle Mashups

Tim Klein makes amusing puzzle montages. He figured out that jigsaw puzzle companies use the same cut patterns for multiple puzzles. He combines portions from two or more puzzles to make a surreal picture that the publisher never imagined.

  1. A friend of my Dad worked for Milton-Bradly making the dies to cut those puzzles. He could take a puzzle out of the box, turn all the pieces upside down, and put it together.

  2. I suppose that would be half as easy as doing it right side up.

  3. Thank you for sharing my puzzle montage art!
