These carpets are made of everyday objects

The We make Carpets collective in the Netherlands makes special carpets, which are not actually carpets. They are art objects in which geometry, color and the use of ordinary daily products play the leading role.

Carpet Carpet was constructed out of 3500 rolled carpet cutoffs.
It was commisoned by Lynfabrikken, Aarhus, Denmark.

The Mussel Carpet is part of the collection of the
Zeeuws Museum, Middelburg, the Netherlands
