Starwatcher, a groundbreaking 3D computer animation from 1991

Starwatcher by French cartoonist, Jean Henri Gaston Giraud (aka Moebius), was set to become the first feature-length animated movie to be made with 3-D computer graphics. But a series of mishaps, including the death of the film's producer and the French production company's bankruptcy put an end to the project.

  3. Sadly, no. But I just spent a week watching pelicans diving off the Washington coast, so I'm filled with pelican admiration.
