Mr. Nag's new friend is a bronze dog we ran across in Rotterdam. Hungarian artist Joeki Simák, who worked and lived in the city until she passed away in 2015, created the sculpture and called it Fikkie, a common name for dogs in the Netherlands.
Since 1963 the dog was kidnapped three times but was returned to the police station each time.

So you're in the neighboorhood! Any change you are going to visit Schiedam too?

We arrived home from a two-week biking holiday in Holland and Belgium just hours ago! We spent the last few days in Rotterdam and enjoyed the architecture, the vibrancy and the public art we found there. It's a wonderful city and we hope to return there and use it as a base to explore the surrounding area.
