Mexican artist Enrique Chiu started producing murals on the Mexican side of the US border in December 2016 as a response to Trump's border and immigration policies. To date he has painted more than 1.5 mi of border fence in Playas Tijuana with the help of American and Mexican artists. The goal is to set the Guinness World Record for the longest mural.
Chiu dedicates this project “to all those people who are looking for a better life. Who take enormous risks. Or those have been deported and are separated from their families.”
