Digital Tribute to André Derain

André Derain was a member of the Fauvism art movement. Matisse, another Fauve artist, invited Derain to spend the summer of 1905 with him in Collioure, a fishing town in the southwest of France where he painted its seascapes and mountains.  FAUVISTa is a virtual exploration of Derain’s 1905 “Bateaux à Collioure.”
