1922 Color Film Test by Kodak

These tests, made in 1922 at the Paragon Studios in Fort Lee, New Jersey demonstrate the Two-Color Kodachrome Process. The process, which had been in development for over 8 years, was used to shoot a selection of stage and screen stars.

The models include actress Hope Hampton (appearing in costume from The Light in the Dark, 1922), who was married to Jules Brulatour, her manager and the exclusive distributor for Kodak film; Mary Eaton (famed star of the Ziegfeld Follies) and the inimitable Mae Murray (The Merry Widow, 1925).
