Crazy Hair-Freezing Contest In The Yukon

It gets mighty cold in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. So cold that Takhini Hot Pools hosts a hair-freezing contest! Contestants soak in a hot pool of water (roughly 40 Celsius/104 Fahrenheit). When they emerge, the air is so cold (-30 Celsius/-22 Fahrenheit) that their hair turns to ice that they can style.
