Amazing Light Pillars
UltraLinx has posted a collection of photographs of light pillars, a phenomenon that occurs when light interacts with ice crystals. When the temperature drops these crystals position themselves horizontally and act as vessels for the light, shooting it into the air, creating what looks like pillars.
