This Haunting Short Film Was Created by Erasing Everyone

Photographer and filmmaker Mathieu Stern wondered:  “What if everyone was gone, what if I had Paris for myself? What if … and why not?”
It took him 2 months  to create his haunting short film “Alone in Paris.”  Because every scene was shot at 2pm on a weekday he painstakingly used Photoshop to erase the crowds.

I was in Paris just after the 2015 bombings and the streets and cafes were deserted. It was eerie but the feeling that the city was all mine was kind of wonderful.
