Scientists Stream Netflix Through Pork Loin


Scientists at the University of Illinois transmitted a wireless signal strong enough to “stream Netflix” through a pork tenderloin and beef liver. The project, nicknamed “meat-comms”, tested whether an ultrasonic system might be a feasible way to communicate with medical devices implanted in the human body.
There is some question about whether the results could be replicated in human tissues. Perhaps if they added a few sprigs of thyme?
