Award-winning Cambodian photographer Remissa Mak's series, Left 3 Days, uses paper-cut figures to illustrate the tumult and horror of Cambodia from 1975 and 1979. Mak's family fled Phnom Penh in 1975 when he was just 7 years old. Now, 40 years later, Mak pays tribute to the shadows of the past.
