Hairdressing, Shanghai style

China-based photographer Jonathan Browning's latest work shows staff being trained in the art of hairdressing at Wenfeng's headquarters and boarding college in Shanghai. The salons are modelled on the military, complete with uniforms with a star-ranking shoulder insignia displaying their rank and position. The day begins with military-style roll call each morning and the students live in dormitories.
