Recyclable Shoes

Because it is easier to recycle a shoe made from a single type of plastic, designer Ammo Liao created the Bio-Knit shoe. A single material is woven and heated to form the upper, laser-etched to form the inner and 3-D printed to create the sole. The woven polymer can be heated to change its physical properties.

When they've outlived their usefulness simply toss them in the recycling bin.
