A Sneaker Made From Ocean Trash

The world’s oceans are in danger of disappearing and along with them marine life will also be gone.

This prototype for an Adidas sneaker was made from trash dredged up from the ocean by the nonprofit Sea Shepherd. This illegal fishing net that spanned the bottom of the sea like a wall, killing nearby marine life, will now serve as footwear.
