Chatillon Car Cemetery

This forest in Chatillon, Belgium contains the decaying remains of vehicles left behind by US servicemen who had been stationed in the area after World War 2. Photographers Theo van Vliet and Marcel Wiegerinck have captured beautiful images of these automobiles that were left to rust in peace there 7 decades ago.

  2. I read a few articles because I thought this might be an urban legend. One of the articles noted that over the years more cars have been dumped there.
