Making The Cover for Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt. Pepper's iconic album cover was designed in 1967 by the pop artists Peter Blake and Jann Haworth from an ink drawing by McCartney. Most of us of a (ahem) certain age remember the famous collage featuring the Beatles in costume as the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, standing with a group of life-sized cardboard cut-outs of famous people. This post at vintage everyday shows some of the work that went into making it.

Thanks Bruce!
