Sgt. Pepper's iconic album cover was designed in 1967 by the pop artists Peter Blake and Jann Haworth from an ink drawing by McCartney. Most of us of a (ahem) certain age remember the famous collage featuring the Beatles in costume as the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, standing with a group of life-sized cardboard cut-outs of famous people. This post at
vintage everyday shows some of the work that went into making it.
Thanks Bruce!
