The Beauty & Essex Lounge opened in 2011 with a deceptive retro shop front acting as a facade to a grand and lavishly designed 10,000 square foot restaurant, bar, and lounge in the heart of the lower east side. It is dripping with retro elegance.
I've bookmarked it for my next foray into the Big Apple.
