The Chamonix Skywalk is a specially designed glass box made from 12mm toughened glass on the top of the Aiguille du Midi mountain peak. It allows visitors to step out 1,035 meters (3,396 feet) above the valley below. In recent years I have developed a fear of heights; would a walk out on this platform cure my phobia or would it drive me mad?
