What your email sign-off really means

I'm not sure I agree with Ben Pobjie when he writes that one's choice of an email sign-off "is one of the most fraught decisions you’ll make every day" but it got me thinking. Cheers, regards, sincerely, thanks, yours, fondly - which do you use to close off an email? I hope you didn't answer "fondly" because, according to Pobjie, that is the same as writing "I hate you".

  2. I agree. I agonize about more important things - like what to make for dinner.
