Ruined Cement Factory Now a Luxury Home

Would you want to live in an abandoned cement factory? Before I saw this my answer would probably have been no.




In 1973 Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill bought an abandoned cement factory near Barcelona and began renovation work. The Cement Factory is used as architectural offices, archives, a model laboratory, and exhibition space, an apartment for him, as well as guest rooms and gardens.
