Anyone who lives in Toronto knows Honest Ed's. It has been a garish brightly lit fixture on the downtown TO landscape for almost 65 years. Honest Ed Mirvish was a savvy character who built up a restaurant and theatre empire from scratch.
The 160,000 square foot store and an additional 190,000 sq. ft. of surrounding property is up for grabs. David Mirvish, Ed Mirvish's son, says nothing has been sold yet but the prime location, close to the subway, is likely to attract plenty of attention.
Honest Ed's on the market for $100 million
