The African country Burkina Faso is poor but has all the raw materials it needs to produce beautiful homes like these in Tiébélé. They are made of a sun-dried mix of clay, soil, straw and cow droppings moistened to a perfect mortar, mixed by foot to create strong pottery-like structures. The dwellings are then painted with colored mud and chalk that tell stories of the ancient tribe's culture.
