WTF (I never say that but I'm a little shocked)? Who decided whether she needed it or not? Was this widespread behaviour in those days? Should I confiscate Mr. Nag's hairbrush?
I was curious when this was published. The New York Mirror folded in 1842, and again as The Evening Mirror in 1898. Then The Daily Mirror, Hearst’s biggest tabloid, closed on October 16, 1963. It looks like that might have been in the 40s, the era of Ironman who today’s teenage girls think is so romantically macho. If they only knew.
Spanked if she really needs it? Well, yes... if she asks nicely. ;o)

I also wondered about the timeframe but wasn't as diligent as you were. These guys may be cavemen but their photos indicate late 40s or early 50s.
