According to landscape painter Michelle Muldrow, the aisles of Home Depot and Target are the landscapes of the 21st century. In Cathedrals of Desire Muldrow paints the aesthetically distinct, highly controlled sites of American daily life.
Muldrow uncovers beauty in the urban landscape of big box stores. I find her work very appealing.
