  1. Ireland!! That had been our plan but then my husband was scheduled for some outpatient surgery and wouldn't have been able to golf so we booked Paris instead.
Now the surgery is delayed until September!!
We have traveled to Ireland many many times and it is very special to me.
Have a great time and post lots of photos.

  2. Wow! I've seen clouds like this -- saw them last night, as a matter of fact (I live two hours northeast of Regina and we've had wild weather) -- but this photo is quite amazing -- much more contrast and sharpness than mine -- Wow again!

  3. wonderful. We often have mammatus clouds when tornadic weather systems are going through. But not separate lobes like in that picture.

  5. Booby clouds.
    Or so it roughly translates!

Clouds are fascinating. Last night I was sitting outside the pub, watching a line of clouds roll through, they were outlined in gold by the setting sun, against a darkening blue sky, and roiling and tumbling, visibly, as you see in speeded up pictures, but this was happening in real time.
I would not have wanted to be in any sort of flying contraption anywhere near those clouds, they were beautiful and scary at the same time. I realise now I should have taken photos, like a skilled blogger would. Drat!

  6. I never have my camera when I need it. Even if I did I don't think I'd be able to capture the ominousness that this photographer has nailed.
