Swarmed!!
I came home from work to some high drama chez Bellamy. The sidewalk in front of my house was cordoned off and folks had gathered. A huge swarm of bees had descended on our front yard and the town bee wrangler (who knew there was such a thing?) had to trap them and take them away!

That's good! Friends of mine used to be unofficial bee-wranglers in this small town. Apparently, it isn't hard to deal with the brutes if they're swarming and if you're a knowledgable apiarist. I don't know; I've never tried.
ReplyDeletePeople were actually petting the bees! They were very calm until the bee guy moved them and he got stung. He didn't seem to mind though.
