My favourite version is that of Judy Collins, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzV57mIvG8E), I'm sorry to say I really don't like Queen Cee's version.
ReplyDeleteI was once in a protest march in Finland, with about six hundred people singing this...
Having been involved in left wing politics my entire adult life I have attended many marches where people sang this song. The first I heard was Judy Collins' version. Very lovely.
