Chauvet Cave Art

Pictures of animals drawn some 35,000 years ago in the Ardeche region of France help us understand the origins of art. Painted during the Ice Age they are thought to be almost twice as old as the more famous drawings in Lascaux.

This is about the only 3-D movie that I really want to see in 3-D!

Those were some pretty amazing pictures. They're far more realistic and modern looking than other primitive work I've seen.

They certainly look better than I could do.

The video should have been edited down to about 1/4 of it's length, however. It was just plain boring for most of it.
