Modern Offerings For Ching Ming

Ching Ming, the Chinese day for sweeping the graves of ancestors, and honoring them with gifts took place on April 5th this year. Traditionally, paper items representing money, clothing, food, homes and other consumer items are burned. The belief is that these items can then be used by the deceased, whose physical needs are much the same as those of the living.
This year, the iPhone and the iPads that were in demand for the living were also in demand in their paper form for the dead.
