I was somewhat offended by that first sentence in the article, "THE OLD MAN pictured in the background....". OLD MAN? fCs, he was only 51 at the time.
51 seemed old to me at one time, too, but alas no longer. I'm wistful rather than offended.
Too true.I remember as a callow youth telling my mom about the meager size of the ice cream scoops at the local parlour.I said something like "they had some old woman in her 50's who could barely dig into the container"..... oops!
