No, at that time MA, but had relatives living in Stony Creek, near Hamilton. Pop's cousin worked at the steel mill and we went to visit a couple times during the CNE. First time I ever saw the mini automatic donut machines, which plop the dough into the grease, then float them in a spiral path to the unload conveyer. Bet they aren't 25 cents a bag anymore.
One of my fondest memories of the CNE, back in the late ‘50s, was the greasy donuts.
