It's surprising to me that yo-yos haven't made a mainstream come back yet. It's been almost 20 years (early 90s?) since the last time it was popular.
Early 90s? I haven't heard anything about yo-yos since the 60s when yo-yo men performed in school yards.
Oh for sure it wasn't like the 60s but I remember the Smothers Brothers were doing their yo-yo act on TV around then and seeing a yo-yo demo in the mall.
I always had a yo-yo or two when I was a kid but never mastered any tricks.
