We're gonna move


This video hit the right buttons. I've always liked Louden Wainwright - he's so clever - and I fear moving because of Mr. Nag's hoarding ways.

    Wainwright is great. This is the first time I've seen him performing -- can see where the theatricality of Martha and Rufus might come from. What's with the tongue? It's probably what every singer would *like* to do when their lips are drying out up there, but doesn't. Did Jagger steal that from Wainwright, do you think, or the other way 'round?

    He used to appear at the El Mocambo from time to time. In fact one of my first dates with Mr. Nag was a Louden Wainwright show. The tongue thing creeps me out too.
