It was not so bad during the winter when I got home from work after dark but at this time of year the bright sunlight shows up all my domestic insufficiencies. The never ending laundry room construction doesn't help matters any either.
Oh you are right about the light. There is nothing more beautiful than low early evening light coming in the windows. Except that it shows all the dust on every horizontal surface.
But if you have construction mess then you have a pass. (Feeling trapped by conventional sex roles now. Let's go out for a drink and leave the dust behind us.)
