R.I.P. Kate McGarrigle

I was so sad to hear of the death of singer songwriter Kate McGarrigle at the age of 63. For more years than I care to admit I've been listening to and loving the wonderful music she made with her sister Anna. I will miss their beautiful harmonies.

    Me too.
    In fact, I was listening to a load of tracks, and contemplating posting one, then I fell asleep.....

    I love their harmonies.. or I did.
    So sad.

    The first time I heard Kate and Anna was when I borrowed "Dancer With Bruised Knees" from a friend, I was instantly hooked.

    Matapedia is one of my favourite songs. The family stuff was so cool. I thought there would be much more.
