It was beautiful out today and warm. Lots of ice floating down the river. I couldn't help but think of the old Gordon Lightfoot song Did She Mention My Name?. ( Is the ice still on the river, are the old folks still the same? etc) Now I'm afflicted with a very Canadian earworm.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
