Best and worst jobs in the US


The study, released Tuesday from CareerCast.com, a new job site, evaluates 200 professions to determine the best and worst according to five criteria inherent to every job: environment, income, employment outlook, physical demands and stress.

  1. I'd like to see someone at JobsRated.com find a waitress or janitor that would agree that their $16,000/yr job is better than a surgeon's(or vice versa).

  2. I agree. My husband is a firefighter and my sense is that most of them like the job. You don't see a lot of turnover. Yet it's rated as one of the worst occupations. Go figure.

  3. It's also funny that they still provided the 'Find This Job' buttons for their 10 worst list.
